I am a biostatistician specializing in the integrative analysis of clinical, epidemiological, genomic, and multi-omics data. My research applies genetic epidemiological and statistical methods — including genome-wide association studies and Mendelian randomization — to elucidate the etiology and molecular mechanisms of complex disease, with the broader aim of translating large-scale biomedical data into actionable clinical and public health insight.

Research
My research program integrates genomic, multi-omics, epidemiologic, and clinical big-data resources to characterize the genetic and environmental architecture underlying complex disease. This work is grounded in the rigorous development and validation of statistical methodology, ensuring that inference drawn from large-scale, heterogeneous biomedical data is both robust and reproducible — thereby advancing precision approaches to disease prevention and management.

Genomics & Omics
Large-scale genomic and multi-omics analyses — spanning the genome, epigenome, transcriptome, proteome, and metabolome — using cohort resources such as the Korean Genome and Epidemiology Study (KoGES) and the UK Biobank — open to new collaborations built on these resources.

Clinical Big Data
Analysis of national-scale administrative and survey data, including the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service (HIRA), the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS), and the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) — always interested in new joint projects using these datasets.
